Moon AKA Simaudio announces new line of speakers.

More to chose from  and I look forward to hearing them.

Thanks for explaining.  I would think adding two subwoofers would allow the bookshelf speakers to play down lower.

I am sure that the Sim will need 2 subs well controlled yes and they will be great...

My speaker woofer has 2 more centimeter of diameter and a bigger box well damped over 80 pounds of concrete on platform and springs under and over them under the damping load...

This is why they sound great ...With room acoustic control...But it is not suitable for a living room... It is why the only luxury in audio for me is not the gear but a room...

I am glad to need no subs...

The less is the best....😁😊

My deepest respect to you....

@whipsaw a great lunch spot in Odessa, TX (ugh) is a place called ChianMex you can get Fajitas with a side of Chicken Fried Rice and Eggrolls. Yummi.

Was just an observation not casting dispersions.

These speakers have some impressive spes, like 89dBs sensitivity for a speaker of that size. Wondering how do they accomplished that

I do value anomalies, but my bet is that any success SimAudio may find with their speakers will be both modest, and related to brand loyalty. And I arrived at that conclusion before I read this:

Dominique Poupart, MOON’s Product Manager, commented, “We are thrilled that one can now own a complete MOON system, one that wouldn’t depend on other manufacturers’ loudspeakers.

I don't doubt that a complete MOON system would sound relatively good. But I am skeptical that their speakers will be good enough to carve out serious market share in a very competitive space, populated by dedicated speaker manufacturers.
