my office slim desktop, also HP, has intel integrated video and audio (also no fan noise wanted here)
1. usb out, adapter to rca, direct to amp for audio?
2. what about the audio drivers on the motherboard?
no matter what, they control the sound quality?

motherboard realtek drivers still involved?
I can install a half-height audio card, pci express x16 slot. It's not about cost, they are inexpensive and I can do it myself,
IF worth doing.
Frankly I want to avoid the 'IDEA' that things are better, I hope to get 'definitely worth doing' information.
