Rogers High Fidelity Integrated amplifiers

I see used models listed for sale at a'gon and other audio sites quite often. However, whenever someone asks for opinions in the forums, the usual suspects are Primaluna, Rogue Audio, Raven Audio, Line Magnetic, Quicksilver, etc., but I hardly see anyone recommending Rogers. I wonder why that is. From what I understand, they're made in the US (I know, doesn't necessarily imply better quality) and the prices are quite reasonable.

The other thing I noticed was that unlike Primaluna or some other brands that get snapped up quickly, the Rogers amps tend to stay listed much longer.

What gives?

I own PrimaLuna dialogue premier mono blocks and matching pre amp, a Cayin A100t Mk2 , Cary Sli80 and the Rogers EHF 200 Mk2. I enjoy all of them. I believe the Rogers to be the best of them. I have them mated to Nola Metro Gold2 speakers. I tried all different amps on the Nola. The Roger Fidelity clearly bested all of them. With the Rogers/ Nola notes hand in mid air. Separation of instruments is amazing each instrument can be heard with in its own space. Excellent on classical music. Excellent dynamics. Out of all the amps I own, Rodgers also has the best bass. It’s an overall performer doing everything excellent. On another note Rogers may have the best customer service in the industry. They answer emails and respond on weekends! Life time warranty. I will never part with this amp. Yes it’s pricey, but not for what you get.

Roger designs truly amazing sounding amps that are made in the United States with quality parts, point-to-point wiring and beefy transformers.

I had the opportunity to meet with Roger at his shop, his passion for audio and focus on customer satisfaction should be the benchmark for the industry.

His amps also carry a lifetime warranty, which speaks volumes about the confidence he has in the build quality.

I had a PrimaLuna HP Integrated (using 88’s and upgraded pre tubes) and replaced it with a KWM-88 Integrated Amplifier. I loved the PL until the KWM-88 Integrated Amp blew the PL away. My speakers aren’t too efficient and I wanted more to drive them. More I got! Additionally I had to turn my sub way way down as suddenly the bass came shockingly alive.

A few HiFi pals also give it praise, even Bob.

At low volumes there’s a fullness that’s a fantastic. The dynamics were noticeably improved.

You can try before you buy. I bought a "used" one from Roger.

He knows his stuff.
one would hope the rogers kwm88 is somewhat better than the primaluna, as it is 2-3x the price...
