Speakers for a NAD C352 Integraded amp

I got an old NAD C352 amp that works great. Would like a recommendation for a pair of quality bookshelf speakers to match it... (max $1,000/pair)
Power output: 80 watts per channel into 8 ohms (stereo)  • Frequency response: 20Hz to 20kHz
  • Total harmonic distortion: 0.03%
  • Damping factor: 150
  • Input sensitivity: 330mV (line)
Much appreciated.

Hello llary.  I recently bought the PSB Alpha B1.  Amazing little speaker with huge sound.  I've used it with different integrateds, including the big brother of yours, the 372.  At $200, they're an absolute steal.  Good luck!

Gentlemen,

Greatly appreciate the response; although I pulled the plug on a decision a couple of days ago. I decided to upgrade the speakers on my AV system and use the old speakers on the NAD receiver. The old speakers are B&W 600s. They sound terrific on the NAD, so I’m happy with my decision, so far. I purchased B&W 606s for my AV system (Denon AVR 3700 receiver.) I haven’t received them yet so the jury is still out. If they’re not an improvement over the 600s, they will be returned I will then consider your suggestions.
