this finally arrived today from Berlin after a 3+ month wait. Wow does it sound good though. Pristine vinyl and a spectacular recording. Wonderfully dynamic, clear and bright. I’m sitting on the stage in front of the Violas.

Thanks James, just got notified it will be here next Tuesday. 11 day turn around from ordering. Not too bad, especially coming from Honolulu. Yes, the phono stage was my last piece to the phono rig. The Mani with LPS has done its job nicely, but I have a feeling it will be, (as it was when I put together the SOTA/Jelco/Soundsmith), like playing my albums for the first time. Again.

Back in ‘77, I home-auditioned a small pair of KLH speakers. They had a promo where they sent you home also with a Sheffield Lab record (SL13/KLH)

It was Amanda McBroom vocals with Lincoln Mayorga, Doug Sax and that crew
