Rest in Peace.

That is very sad news.  I met him at a CEDIA show.  We were both listening to a speaker with a compression driver and horn.  After the demonstration, he asked me about what we heard and we had a nice conversation.  I had no idea who I was talking to until he told me he was Dr. Edgar and he builds the Edgarhorn.  I then made it a point to hear his speakers at shows.  I liked what I heard.
I never met Dr. Edgar, but I did exchange e-mails with him.  I found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful.  His enthusiasm for horns was contagious.  I am saddened by his demise.
Sad to hear of his passing. I found his writings very enjoyable and helpful. He shared his knowledge freely and I am grateful.
I dont know him but all souls here are related.... My prayers to all his family....

I never saw Bruce without a big smile on his face. He was eccentric, the way many brilliant people are. He was close with Brooks Berdan and a lot of Brooks' customers, and would come in on Saturdays to keep us all abreast of the latest changes he had made to his horn loudspeakers.

I never found out why Brooks didn't have a pair of Bruce's speakers in the listening room at the shop. Brooks was a Wilson dealer (as well as Vandersteen, Audio Physics, and Eminent Technology), and knowing how Wilson works ;-) may explain that.
