REF reference model 3

Hi everyone! this is my first post so go easy haha.
Basically, I have some old, very nice speakers to sell, and finding a price to sell is turning out to be a slight challenge for me. They are KEF reference model 3 speakers, I believe from the 1990s, and they are in nearly perfect condition. I listed them at 1800 (unsure) and someone who is at least trying to seem very knowledgeable about KEF said $800 was fair for this pair. I would really appreciate some knowledgeable people telling me what they're worth if possible. thanks.

Your welcome. JK. Look at history on hifishark.com. 800 sounds reasonable. I see them listed for around a grand and after neg that's probably about right.
$700 to $1000 is a reasonable price for the Reference Model 3. They are a fantastic speaker, one of the best made by KEF with the old school KEF sound. They never had a lot of press, so people are not aware of how good they are. I currently have the KEF Reference Model One, which I purchased used in perfect condition, about 10 years ago for $350.
