What happened to Needledoctor.com?

Wasn't sure whether to post this under the "Analog" heading or here, but since it's about the business generally, I thought this might be the right place. It looks like Jerry Raskin's Needledoctor site is permantely down and the business is closed. Not sure what happened there but from what I read, he seems to have left some of his customers high and dry. While I had never bought anything from that site, it was a very helpful resource for researching turntables, cartridges, phono preamps, etc. so I'll miss it. Do any of you know what happened to cause the business to close so suddenly?

I can think of two possible reasons, the fierce competition and those damn window shoppers!
Apologies for my posting if this has already been answered. I did a quick search for "needledoctor" in the forums and didn’t get any matches so I just assumed. As for window shopping, well, I plead guilty but I don’t think that’s necessarily harmful to a business. The more views the better IMO. You never know when it will turn into a sale. Oh, and thanks for the link to the Business Journal article, which was very informative.
"You never know when it will turn into a sale" Isn't a SALE......
and if enough of them don't turn into a sale, then you go out of business...great job window shopper LOL
