Expess Checkout (Stripe) Problems on Audiogon - HELP!


My transaction seems to have fallen into a black hole of payment processing. I checked out with Audiogon Express Checkout normally. My transaction page shows completed payment and my credit card was charged by Audiogon.

The buyer, however, cant get the payment from Stripe. They seem to be treating him as a new internet business, asking him to verify his e-commerce website and prove what merchandise he is selling.

Audiogon has so far been unhelpful, suggesting that I dispute the charge with Chase. Since the charge is from them, they should be able to reverse it.

Has anyone encountered this nasty situation?

I will do that, but I am surprised to hear that Audiogon, who is the one actually charging my credit card can't issue the refund.

I backed right out of Stripe, and went to PP business account. So far, no worries.
