Tekton Double Impacts

Anybody out there heard these??

I have dedicated audio room 14.5x20.5x9 ft.  Currently have Marantz Reference CD/Intergrated paired to Magnepan 1.7's with REL T-7 subs.  For the vast majority of music I love this system.  The only nit pick is that it is lacking/limited in covering say below 35 hz or so.  For the first time actually buzzed the panel with an organ sacd. Bummer.  Thought of upgrading subs to rythmicks but then I will need to high pass the 1.7's.  Really don't want to deal with that approach.

Enter the Double Impacts.  Many interesting things here.  Would certainly have a different set of strengths here.  Dynamics, claimed bottom octave coverage in one package, suspect a good match to current electronics.

I've read all the threads here so we do not need to rehash that.  Just wondering if others out there have FIRST HAND experience with these or other Tekton speakers

Thanks.

oh wow. I’m in Spring. Maybe I’ll do that. I heard the 803 diamond series also. I liked them a lot. Very forward sound, but to me at least pleasing. They were a different sound than others I heard but I liked them enough to get on my short list. Good speakers. The 805 would make for incredible surrounds except for the price.

BTW, this is a big upgrade for me. I've been listening to 5.2 in my home theater so this will the first time I get past  speakers and subs. Is there much difference in the immersion factor between 5 and 7 speakers? Some say yes, and some say it is not worth it.
I've never had less that a 7.1 since we built the house with the HT so I really can't say if there is a huge difference with the 5.1. Maybe I'll shut down the rears and see. But my opinion is, at least in my environment, that 7.1 is enough and have never felt the need to go past that. But I also have never heard an Atmos system. So my opinion is lacking an important comparison. Maybe a good reason NOT to hear one and feel the need for 4-5 more speakers!
Hello jcarcopo,
Let me know if the new production Elrogs 300b prove to be reliable , obviously this will take time to determine. Ìt is a fabulous sounding tube in my amplifier but unfortunately unreliable. This reportedly has been resolved with the current batch per new ownership.

Hey Charles,

Sure thing! I’m hoping the quality problems are resolved with the Elrog too. Personally I feel for the price they should at least match if not exceed Emission Lab’s standard warranty, especially in light of past problems.
Bob:

Same thing with the Atmos. Some people say meh.... and some people say it is a real eye opener if done right. I have no idea myself. As I say. I've just only had 5 speakers.
@david_ten @kdude66 Thanks for your response. Just for my knowledge purpose i posted 4/8 ohm version question
