Strong US$ ... Gryphon ...

With the strong US$, has anyone purchased components directly from Europe or Asia especially companies that don't have an US presence?

Many people are predicting the dollar will go to parity with the Euro, and hopefully back to 0.88 when it hit highs shortly after mini recession in 2002 I believe. I hope all the prices in USD get adjusted appropriately or many of us will be buying on a European vacation...and the vacation will be free!

I recall buying new Vienna Acoustic speakers direct from a dealer in Europe back in those times when the USD was stronger than the Euro. If that does happen, I possibly may buy from Europe again.
