Rowland 201 mono's, has anyone heard them?

I was in a Rowland dealer and they showed me the new Rowland 201 mono blocks for $4700.00 per pair. These were not yet broken in & I did not really listen. 250 watts per channel @ $4,700.00 per pair. At $4,700.00 per pair has anyone listen to these beauties?

Yep, I've heard 'em, and yes, they are superb. I have a fairly strong prejudice towards tube equipment (even though I don't own tube power amps), but these just got the sound right. Really right.

I haven't been THAT impressed with the other Rowland gear, although it's all good. But these were something else, and they were, at least to my ears, noticably more real than the 302 that I'd heard previously.

One thing that nobody's mentioned yet is that they run COOL. As in cool to the touch. At full power. All day. My *preamp* puts out 3-4 times as much heat as a pair of the Rowlands, forget the power amps. If your monoblocks heat up your room unpleasantly during the summer, go audition these 201s!

And no, I don't own any Rowland gear at all. I'm just impressed.
Has anyone heard if there will be a stereo version? I looked at the website, but found only the 201 monos. By the way, I own the 302, after having owned the Model 10. The former is a major improvement!
Haven't heard of any coming stereo version, but then the 201s have only been out a couple of months.
I e-mailed Rowland and they told me that only a handful have been sent out in the field so far. They are supposed to start shipping regularly sometime in Oct.
Any thoughts on how the 201's compare sonically to the Model 10's? I'm curious as the Model 10's are more expensive; nevertheless, the 201's are monoblocks based on new 301/302 technology. Any observations on the bass response? It seems to be an exciting amp at a relatively reasonable price...
