Ypsilon VPS 100 and SUT

I'm interested in the Ypsilon VPS 100. I've seen the phono stage on sale on occasion but without the corresponding SUT. I'm wondering about folks experience with using the VPS 100 with a different (non-Ypsilon) SUT. Were there advantages or disadvantages. If not the Ypsilon SUT what others did they pair with the unit?
