Your first concert was to see who and when?

Not exactly sure but it was either Steppenwolf or the Beach Boys. I remember Steppenwolf was so loud I think my ears were bleeding. 

Rush 82 Moving Pictures at LA Forum. To this day I can’t believe how high in the air Neal would throw both sticks in between song fill and catch them in perfect time to continue playing. The professor is dearly missed. 

Sacramento 1972 the Mahler Symphony #2. Years later I went to a live performance of the Mahler 8th, which often takes more than 1000 musicians to perform it. This should be on everyone's bucket list, along with witnessing a total solar eclipse.  

Funkadelic in a cow barn in MS around ‘70 was an early and memorable one.
