Your favorite Electrostatic, Panel spkr

I’m putting together an analog system. First on the list was a turntable, I’ve settled on the Denon DP 59L.
Now let’s hear from the owners of some panel electrostatic type speakers, not ones you dreamed of owning, ones that you’ve owned and the reason why they were your favorite.

So.......my room is 9.5’x12.5’,8’ceilings

would these be going on the long wall ?
the A-3’s in my room would be HUGE:0)

as of now budget is up in the air, this is a retirement present to myself, i dont think $3,000 is off the mark for speakers, so a grand above and below would be my variable.

Sorry, i finally measured the room today, its a spare room with no acoustic treatments. It should make a nice listening room, once i get to measuring things and applying treatments

So am i correct, they will be on the 12’ wall, not the 9’
Small maggies with a nice sub would probably be the way to go. I enjoyed dialing in a sub so I don’t think that’s going to be a big issue most of it is room constraints. I have a home theater that’s 13‘ x 19‘, I may rethink having a set of Maggie’s to put up once in a while and use the existing subs since they are very musical .Does this change anything for any of you guys

the main problem in my HT is my sub array, (2) 15’’s to the left, (2) 15’s to the right of the LP
PureAudioProject Trio15, nice ! I really like the idea of a cold winter night and some tubes glowing

can we discuss prices here ? Other forums hit and miss
They have to do all kinds of music, at least up to 80db, with a closer LP that should be no problem......

i think with the size of the room, the
QUAD ESL-57’s sound sound about right, i gotta search out members who would be  willing to let me do a live audition. When I was looking for a projector I found a local guy who had one that I was able to check out first hand, hopefully I can find a member in this form or another will be willing to do a live demo
