Unfortunately, I think that some producers boost the upper frequencies to give the music a superficial “wow” factor, which eventually ends up as listener fatigue. An old story, really. Speaker designers do it too. Hundreds of threads here over the years asking how to “tame” the brightness in their systems with cables, footers and tweaks ending up costing thousands.
Yeracito Master Series
I've got some YMS mastered digital albums in 32bit/96khz. Overall best recordings I have heard except the highs are to bright. Sound stage, depth, everything is great except the highs are overly done.
Such a shame that the rest is so good and brightness makes them almost useless.
Anybody else have experience with this masterings?
