I just purchased this turntable and it is working fine, however the bottom cover is missing. The feet also. Would it be okay if I put it up on wood blocks and leave the bottom as-is...(open )?
I'm sure the sound would be changed if the bottom cover was in place , it also is where the feet mount. I would get a piece of pressed wood or even plywood and replace.
