XLR to RCA adaptors
If you have to use XLR to RCA adaptors (let's say high quality like Cardas) how much sound quality would you be losing?

With that preamp you can use the RCA inputs and you'll enjoy all the benefits of a balanced connection.
That mostly depends on the equipment being connected. Are you using balanced components?
