You don't have anything to worry about regarding potential damage to your system, it's only absolute phase that would be impacted which most listeners have trouble detecting. If you want to correct it for peace of mind you can simply invert the positive and negative speaker connections on BOTH speakers. As long as the Denafrips is your only source the system would then have correct absolute phase.
XLR connection between Accuphase and Denafrips
I am connecting my Denafrips Venus II to an Accuphase integrated amplifier E-380 via XLR connection. Denafrips spec states XLR pin 2 is hot (+) whilst Accuphase XLR pin 2 is Inv (-). Does this mean i need to select the phase button in either the Denafrips/Accuphase to align the +/- directionality between the two? I already tried combination of phase on/off amongst the two, and hardly could hear any difference. Do i need to care about aligning the +/- for the XLR connection between both or whichever alignment would do just fine and will not damage any equipment in my system for long term use?
