XLR connection between Accuphase and Denafrips

I am connecting my Denafrips Venus II to an Accuphase integrated amplifier E-380 via XLR connection.  Denafrips spec states XLR pin 2 is hot (+) whilst Accuphase XLR pin 2 is Inv (-).  Does this mean i need to select the phase button in either the Denafrips/Accuphase to align the +/- directionality between the two?  I already tried combination of phase on/off amongst the two, and hardly could hear any difference.  Do i need to care about aligning the +/- for the XLR connection  between both or whichever alignment would do just fine and will not damage any equipment in my system for long term use?

You're fine, all XLRs are wired the same, well I've never found one that wasn't.

@lordmelton @nothelle Just so you know, in the US pin 2 of the XLR is non-inverting ('hot' is a terrible term to use as it implies the pin 3 connection, often called 'cold' is somehow related to ground, which it is not) while pin 3 is inverting.

In Europe it is common to do it the other way 'round. In any event its no worries- plug and play. Not surprising you hardly heard any difference when inverting the polarity of the system.
