Wyred4Sound SX-1000R vs. D-Sonic M3a-600M Opinions

My old Jeff Rowland Model 1 has gone belly up and I think I would like to try Class D.  W4S has lowered the price on the SX-1000R so they cost about the same as the D-Sonic.  I have a W4S DAC that I really like.

Looking for thoughts on these, and Class D in general.

I was curious about Class D as yourself and picked up one of these. Arrived yesterday.

On sale now for $699. I’m amazed by what it does.

I have a pair of SX1000. No R. And NC500 one up Nords.. The Nords sound better with no EQ or tone control. The W4S I had to give them a little bump +3-6db) on top and -3 in the lower mids. Sure are powerful amps though. They are a very black background too. Dead quiet either one. They both push small planars and ribbons all over the place..
