would you use usb into a dac over other options?

usb is inherently prone to jitter. Apparently usb's jitter can be greatly improved with Wavelength's asynchronous magic, but probably still not in league with ye olde Genesis digital lens, and not universally (or cheaply) available. My home computer has rca coax digital outputs, toslink too. Would they be less prone to jitter than usb? Is usb mainly just for laptops?
