Congratulations on your purchase you are going to love the performance of your unit and the service you will get from Wolf Audio. I started out with an Alpha II and when the Alpha III came out I had Joseph Parvey upgrade my Alpha II . I am now using the Red Wolf II and I can state that for each upgrade there was a noticeable improvement.
Before going with Wolf I had a custom high performance laptop dedicated to music. The laptop sounded very nice but once the Alpha II got broken in there was no comparison. I find it amusing how many reviewers who are still using laptops for music playback when every other piece in their system was made for music playback.
With the Wolf units you can stream, rip your cd’s and kick back with an IPad or tablet and with a couple of taps on the screen you can play what you want. My audiophile buddies love it when I pass my IPad to them so they can be the DJ. It isn’t always easy getting it back from them.
