Wired Ethernet Connection Dropouts with Auralic Aries S1

I just bought the Auralic Aries S1 streamer and went through the connection with process on the unit and the App. It all connect fine and was playing for about 30 minutes when the wired internet connection dropped out. 

For at least an hour i would not reconnect. Now it connects speractly. This is weird because i stream Netflix and was using my Gustard R26 previously to stream with zero dropouts. 

I rebooted my modem, and i rebooted (back to factory settings) the S1. Still no help. I've raised a ticket with Auralic, but have yet to receive a response. 

The signal flow is from the wall plug, to Stack Audio SmoothLan, to LHY switch, to another SmothLan, to S1. I even tried going direct from the bypassing the switch and SmoothLan. Still the same. No connection. 

So from the switch Netflix 4K movies stream fine, but the Aries can't connect. 

What's going on?

I have tried an Aurender here at home and i agree, it was rock solid.

The Aries seems to be working at the moment, but seems to dropout occasionally. 

I have contacted the dealer to let him know of the issue and i have received a response from Auralic. 

Let's see how it goes over the next couple of weeks.

I received a full warranty replacement. The new one has been superb from day one.
