Windows 11 Chord DAC won't work!!!

Has anyone upgraded to Windows 11 with a DAC attached?  My old Chord EX Qute Chordette shows in device manager but says drivers are not installed even after I downloaded and reinstalled drivers that used to work in windows 10.    Any assistance appreciated.     Why can't these vendors make devices that just plug and play!!!!

i had same issue and went back to 10.  windows sucks needing all these drivers

Because Windows is set up that way. Proprietary, overly complicated, bucu baloney.
If you adopt early you should know what you're gonna get.

I hear you, I rolled back to Windows 10 and all good.  Windows 10 supported til 2025 in which time I will probably have a new DAC by then anyway.

I can guarantee you that the last thing on Microsoft's mind when they released Windows 11 was whether or not it had drivers for some audiophile device.  The burden to maintain the driver software is completely on the DAC manufacturer.

Problems like this are part of the landscape when one is an early adopter of a new OS.
