Wilson Benesch-Great or just Okay?

On the verge of a buying decision.

Hoping someone with ownership experience

will educate me about the brand.

Much Appreciated!

Ara, did you like the Fritz above the ProAcs?

Well Fed Ex left me hanging with a no show on delivery.

Maybe tomorrow!!

@chorus I know that ProAc has a ton of fans, and for good reason. But in my system, I found them to be a bit bright and thin in the midrange area. They do have a more lively sound that probably benefits genres of music like rock, metal, and EDM. For my money, I prefer the balanced approach taken by Fritz.

Just wondering if you received the Carrera BEs yet.

ara,

Yes I did on Friday. Now they are face to face playing with one side phase

reversed a burn in cd. Another week and I will try them again.

As one whom has been a professional musician back in the day, you do realize we all are not hearing the same thing at the same, it's all subjective and sometimes mental IMHO. It's mostly #1.Room Dimensions #2. Sources #3. Music Type (Genre).

As someone who owns a pair of the Discovery ACT 3zero, and also has a friend who owns a pair of A.C.T. 3Zero, I can say to the OP (who has bought a set by now) that Wilson Benesch is absolutely a stunning speaker company. You would be floored by how much sound comes from these, and how delicate and honest they are to the recording.

I would also echo others' opinions that the source gear matters with these. If you have subpar equipment, it will highlight its flaws. They are not forgiving.
