Why is Audiogon insisting on a verified physical address in order to post?

Reminds me of Audio Asylum. I was on there quite a bit in the past, can't remember what my user name was. As I remember it seemed pretty high-speed back then. I checked there a couple days ago and it seemed very stale, two word answers and little followup, at least in the spots I checked. Anybody here still using Audio Asylum? 

I loved Vinyl Asylum in the past.

Maybe they were X'd to keep the word from getting out so that no one would know????
