Why high-end cable manufacturers don't post measurements?

I'd like to get your take on why high-end manufacturers don't post measurements? would you like to see how a cable measure before ....does it matter to you?

Something to be said for consistency and conviction.
Certainly no farther out there than having metal buckets, crystals, and rocks all over one’s listening room, or spending more on cables than on one’s electronics and speakers.  Sort of like gravity, this hobby seems to indiscriminately attract all who fall within its orbit.

A great idea, but vetoed by the marketing department.

Do they still put batteries in cable?
That was an Audioquest thing and they are apparently still doing it.  A description and link to a white paper follow.  Believing is up to you.
DIELECTRIC-BIAS SYSTEM WITH RADIO FREQUENCY TRAP
All insulation between two or more conductors is also a dielectric whose properties will affect the integrity of the signal. When the dielectric is unbiased, dielectric-involvement (absorption and non-linear release of energy) causes different amounts of time delay (phase shift) for different frequencies and energy levels, which is a real problem for very time-sensitive multi-octave audio. The inclusion of an RF Trap (developed for AudioQuest’s Niagara Series of power products), ensures that radio-frequency noise will not be induced into the signal conductors from the DBS field elements.
