Why are there so many used B&W speakers for sale.

I'm curious about this.  The last time I looked, there were around 50 B&W speakers listed for sale, far more than any other brand.  Are owners upgrading, tired of the sound, the large production compared to other manufactures, or what?

I have listened to demos and thought they were and are excellent speakers but maybe a little bright for my taste.

"First excitement, then fatigue."

This supports my argument that we each need two systems:

A hot, exciting system that you turn on after coming home from work. A system that "gets you going" quickly for maybe an hour or two.

AND

A more laidback system for the week-end that you listen to for hours-on-end.
