Another happy Loki Max owner here. If you have a remote for volume control, you’ll want a remote for your “loudness” control, too. Similar to others, I started with approximations to a few Fletcher Munson curves stored as presets on the Loki Max, and tweaked them slightly for my taste.
Which Schitt Audio Equalizer operates as a loudness switch for low level listening
My system consists of the following:
- 1. Martin Logan Impressions 11A Hybrid speaker
- Bryston 4B3 Cubed amplifier
- Bryston BP-19 preamplifier
- Chord Qutest (seeking to upgrade to Weiss 204 DAC)
- Streamer Lumin U-2 Mini
- Subs -pair of SVS SB-4000
- Seeking to improve low level listening by essentially purchasing a Schitt Lokius 6 band equalizer which will boost bass and treble to improve low level listening, which would operate as a loudness button to some extent. This product sells for $299.00. I would prefer to purchase the Lokius over the Loki Max which sells for $1500.00 and also has 6 bands. Do you think I am on the right track? For $299.00 the risk of not doing what I am seeking seems small. Thanks for your input and suggestions.
