I am interested in getting new tubes for my Antique Sound Labs MG Head OTL amp. I bought the amp with the other tubes already replaced, so I only need a new 12AX7 tube. So what should I get? Thanks
I've tried many 12ax7 in my Quicksilvers (m60) - Electro Harmonics (edgy & noisy), chinese, some amperex (i think) but - The best sounding were some old Telefunkens. Difficult to reccomend without knowing your system- Trial & error
