Where was the best reproduced sound you ever heard?

Answer: Right here in Poulsbo, Washington.

Shunyata Research wowed us all!!

I have short videos but lack the knowledge

of how to share the files.

Best to inquire yourselves.

MBL 101s.

I heard them at shows and dealers, with the most mind blowing experience was a demonstration of the 101s in the home of absolute sound reviewer many years ago.

The most startlingly realistic, I’ve ever heard.

I got a good portion of that sound when I finally owned some MBL speakers myself (MBL 121).

Waveform Mach 17 speakers.

Demonstrated to me and a pal by John Otvos in his own home.   It took everything most other speakers were attempting, and did it effortlessly.  Paradigm changing.

(once again I got a nice dollop of that sound when I reviewed the smaller Mach Solo speakers).

My own system:

As some have already pointed out, often our own systems can be the best sound we’ve ever heard.  After all, we have our systems to precisely the sound that turns our crank.   There’s been quite a few times with my recent system (including some past systems) where my jaw is just in my lap and I’m thinking this has to be the most amazing reproduced I’ve ever heard.
