whatsbestforum - what's going on

I thought I could reduce my presence here and participate elsewhere so I registered on this site called whatsbestforum. First it looked harmless. I did not read the about section. 

I made one comment, a speaker recommendation - did not name or mention anyone - just posted a link to a speaker site and I was immediately banned. The site went into an endless loop, with the you are banned message. I can't log off or view anything, the only way I can view it is if I start another private browser. On top of that, a few hours later, the message changed to "Your IP address has been banned."  Like I am some kind of criminal to be kept away with a restraining order and pepper spray.

I wonder if it's an exclusive site or a cult, and if anyone from here is a successful member over there. The about us section is truly disturbing. I am not taking it personally, but it does bother me of course.

I think the moderators do a good job here. If you keep your posts on-topic and about audio and music; if you treat everyone with reasonable respect; and if you avoid politics - the odds are you'll never have any issue with them at all.

Sorry you guys are so butt hurt but by controlling who is a memeber they eliminate the squabbling, politics and petty posts that fill up 90% of the posts here.  It is very peaceful.  

Carlos posted that I pay for ads and thus I am a supporter of WBF.  that is false.  I have not paid a dime to WBF.  If you were a member there you would see that I have no ads there. 

I think you guys are much happier here where you can argue with other members.

Do you still frequent WBF as a guest reading posts, seems so?  If not his posts were obnoxious and derailing with his constant SR sales pitch and superior attitude. Guess you got a different drift of them from your viewing them.

@cleeds obviously my experience is different. By a mile. But I agree in that I believe you, it's possible to live a quiet life here, with a little luck. Or without luck, if one is aligned with the mods' political views.

I have neither the luck or the alignment and I am constantly in detention, it seems
