Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Hey @nutty . Are you a fan of Back Door Slam? Haven't heard of/from them in a few years. Wondering if there is a good starting place to dive in? I remember liking Davey and the boys back when I first heard them...

@femoore12  - I believe you meant Michael Kiwanuka - "Love & Hate". First heard it at my Local Record Store - Plaid Room Records, Loveland, Ohio. They are a great records store, specialize in soul and funk and have their own record label - Colemine Records. Immediately bought the vinyl.

"Love and Hate" is a great album...

@femoore12  - I am really impressed with Colemine Records. They have some fantastic bands on their label.

They do! And they are really nice guys. Terry and Bob are the kind of people you hope do really.

Indigo Girls - "2000 Curfews"

A fantastic live album from a duo that was on top of their game at this time. If you want to hear 3 GREAT covers, check out these from this album:

"Tangled Up in Blue"
"Buried my Heart at Wounded Knee" (the live version)
"Midnight Train to Georgia"

I saw them during this tour and they were fantastic!
@nutty  - Did you buy a new Naim system? Did you buy new, at Audible Elegance?

BTW, I love "Bloodletting". Bought it on CD when it first came out. Just picked up the vinyl a couple of years ago. Both sound great! Johnette Napolitano is a great vocalist, IMHO.

@ghosthouse

Puzzle is one of the best sounding discs I own.  Not just good sounding but great song writing and excellent musicianship.  "No filler, all killer."

You got that right! Been diggin' it since 1992... Oh, one correction: It was the 25th anniversary tour. Yikes!

@david_ten   +1 for Paolo Nutini  ---  Last Night In The Bittersweet

Some really good songs on this new album. A friend brought it to my attention. Streamed it a couple of times and ordered the LP from the UK.

Chip Taylor and Carrie Rodriguez - "Live at the Ruhr Triennale"

Just Fantastic! What a performance!

Bonnie Raitt - "Luck of the Draw"

Haven't heard it in a while. Still EXCELLENT!

David Bowie - "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars" (2012 Remaster)
