@mv_lopez - I love the versions of "Castles Made of Sand/Little Wing" on the Best of Tuck and Patti album. It's really good IMHO.
Whats playing on your system today?
Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.
I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....
Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....
Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Based on some recent comments, I pulled out my old copy of UK's self-titled first album. First time I've listened to it in 20-30 years. Anyway, after listening to it, I realize why I haven't listened to it in 20-30 years. Not a fan. Really great musicians and great playing. I just don't care for the compositions. |
OK, since we're on a Big Head Todd kick, here's a good one "Secret Mission", from the album "Riviera" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oemea5s60nM&list=PL5DB0F9049EA416C0&index=8&feature=plpp... |
@bdp24 - Nope, didn't see them when they graced our shores. I remember, at the time, I didn't understand all the hoopla and didn't even buy the record. Things have changed....... BTW, my copy of the record has the Rockpile 1980 - Seconds of Pleasure - Weeks of Touring - US Tour dates, printed on the back cover (not a sticker, printed on the back cover of the gatefold). Looks like there were 20-25 nights, spread over 4 weeks - Mid-November to Mid-December 1980. Wish I could say I was there, but......... |
