Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Just now listening to Whitesnake Greatest Hits 2022 on Qoboz.

Like the songs but they are very lean sounding, too much upper midrange.

Creedence Clearwater Revival- The Complete Studio Albums- HR Qobuz.

Dire Straits- "Money For Nothing" Greatest Hits compilation. Quboz 24-192hz.

Too bad the song Money for Nothing, is the edited version. (shortened)

Patient 9 from Ozzy Osborne Qobuz.

The sound quality is mixed way too loud again, sigh.

+1 jafant,

Hall & Oates- A few selected songs... quite impressive. It’s been a long time since I have heard these songs.

The Cars- The Complete Elektra Albums 24-192hz.

I am surprised, that many songs that I have never heard or remember are pretty good.

Sound quality is also above average.

curiousjim, arthur1954,

Pretty cool. That would have been great to hear/see them live back in the day.

Just listened to Vanilla Fudge "Season of The Witch", great tune.

curiousjim,

I really like that Samantha Fish- "Chills and Fever" album. The bass can be a little overwhelming.

Paul McCartney- 7" Singles in HR.

He did some pretty good songs, some that are ok, and quite a few stinkers.

IMHO that is.

AC/DC Back in Black- Never get tired of this album. Highway To Hell a close second.
