Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Steve Wilson is a God..... Lol.
Anything he touches seems to speak to me, he did all the King Crimson remaster I own and the Tull ones.

But I think Stupid Dream is my favorite Tree album even before he reworked it in 2005.
BTW the C.E.C found a good home, guy in Michigan bought it and he was very happy so everyone happy!

It was very good but the Esoteric is in another league TBH.
Evening Boxer!

Parachutes ..... Coldplay.

Can you believe I have never played this before......
Clapton Chronicles.... The Best of Eric Clapton.

CD.

This issue is actually very good SQ, quite surprisingly.
👍
Ghost
As you found out not so new but a real nice job on production imho.
I have From the Cradle as well, not played it in a while though.

I have to say that I prefer Spyro over some of the more supposed greats of the fusion world, like Return To Forever or Weather Report but that is just me...lol
Next up....

Original Cinema..... Spyro Gyra.

Qobuz
RIP indeed for Reed Mullins.

In honour.....

Teenage Time Killers Greatest Hits Vol 1
Qobuz

Try it out, its like a whos who of super punk/metal legends!
Out of Time ..... R.E.M.

Cassette.

For me this is the definitive R.E.M album and not Monster which seems to always get the popular vote.

I will have to give The Sea & The Bells a listen Boxer👍
This should amuse you....

Abba ... The Album.

Cassette.

I have vivid memories of Abba slaughtering the competition on the Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo.
I also remember my mother being outraged when the girls whipped off each other's wraps.....LMAO.
This was prudent England mid 70s.
Arctik.

While I deeply love UFO and subsequent Schenker lineups NOBODY can argue a case for Gary Barden being even a good vocalist..... Lol.

I remember seeing the original MSG back in blighty and while Schenker was a God, Bardens vocals let the side down badly.
Very range limited and off key most of the time...
Apart from that he is ok😁😁
Glupson.
Probably not for myself but still an interesting venture by Waters.

Beat ... King Crimson.
40th anniversary remastered by Steven Wilson on DVD-A.
Blood on The Highway ..... Ken Hensley.

Qobuz.

Fantastic autobiographical album featuring some great vocal performance by the likes of John Walton, Eve Gallagher and Glenn Hughes.

Highly recommend!
Two for the Show ... Kansas.

R2R.

Every time I think I need to cut back on media sources like reel all I have to do is play one and that idea gets kicked into touch!
