Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Joanne Shaw Taylor ....all day ! She is in town, Newport, KY. Just a Stones throw across the muddy Ohio River. 8pm. $25 bucks. One of the best Bluse guitarist touring today. She just finished her latest album that was Produced by Joe Bonnamossa, friends for over a decade. She will not disappoint if you’re blues/rock fan.

Playing at the Southgate House Reviival Sanctuary. Small venue, no bad seating.

+1 Live - Throwing Copper, jafant!

I was fortunate to catch them live in Cincinnati. Days Of The New were the opening act.

@dayglow
Enjoyed the Y&T post. I'm a big fan. Check out front man Dave Meniketti. His solo music is great as well. Self titled Meniketti and On the Blue Side. For your consideration - "Bad Feeling"

reubent - I just rediscovered Davey Knowles this week, and Back Door Slam.

I was at a friend's house Sunday, the night of the Joanne Shaw Taylor concert and he was playing Davey. So I dug into my 2 Terabyte Hard drive and found some Davey and Back Door Slam. Davey is easy on the ears.

Coming up for Air -  is very good.

@stereo5 - Smashing Pumpkins, Siamese Dreams is very, very good. I like alot of their music so I can't point to a favorite. I like the tracks "Ava Adore" and "Everlasting Gaze". Two of their best, IMHO.

ozzy -

Great choice! I believe the guys were at their peak of musicianship during this album. Quadrophenia was a masterpiece as well but in a different way.

Here's one from the Eagles that probably didn't get radio play and should have. From One of these Nights, "Too Many Hands"

Concrete Blonde, Bloodletting- 1990 CD. This is the debut playing on the new Naim system. Until now the disc was mostly unlistenable. Now with the new Naim system I’m reminded why I bought their disc. PRaT!

reubent - I did assemble a new system.
(I owned an) Oppo BDP105D using as Universal Disc/transport > Synergistic Research Coaxial Core UEF Level 2 digital cable, RCA to BNC
(Refurbished) NAIM NDAC > Naim Super Lumina DIN5-5 cable
(New)Naim audio Supernait 3 >
New NACA5 speaker cables >
(I owned the) Totem Forest Signatures

I’m very satisfied with where the system is currently. Power Cables and outboard power supply upgrades are on the horizon. So are their Super Lumina speaker cables. The possibilities are endless with Naim.

ozzy - Thanks for the posts on Heart and Styx. I have just about em' all either on Disc or on my hard drive in FLAC, Apple Losses.
