Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Today I listened to The Who "Live At Leeds, Deluxe Edition" and Nirvana "Unplugged".
@roberjerman,  Love Blue Matter but on my Derem CD, it doesn't sound all that great, it sounds a little hooty and shouty if you know what I mean.
I play it through my Esoteric SACD player which does have a great dac.  I'm disappointed.  How do you find the sound?
It is a beautiful Saturday, weather is perfect, but I wanted to listen to my main rig, hadn't heard it in a week.  I was only going to play I cd, but you know how that goes.  Todays listening:

Hey, I'm retired with nothing better to do!
It was too nice to stay inside but I did listen to 1 new CD,  "Attention, Attention" by Shinedown.  I am a fan of this group but IMHO, both the music and sound quality sucked.   I was bored within minutes and talk about loudness wars, the volume level on the CD was so high that I was running my preamp at 8 o clock instead of the usual 11-12 o clock.
@uberwaltz...………………..
My wife and I saw them for free at Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut in 2005. Thank God my Mac has tone controls to make the CD a tiny bit more listenable. The singers voice sounded etched or strained or something similar which I just couldn’t get past.

"So you will respond if necessary. Good to know."

I am not sure I understand your statement.  If I haven't responded to a comment or comments that have been directed at me by you, then I apologize.   Sometimes I lose track of what thread I have participated in.  I hope I haven't slighted you.
@geoffkait,

you are correct, the original recordings definitely do sound better, however this was real fun. This really made me appreciate my system.
Kraftwerk, “The Mix”

Just cranked “The Robots” on the main rig.  Meters on the Mac amp were hitting 50 watts.  The living room was so pressurized, the bass was pounding my chest which now hurts, lol.

Very disappointed with the new Shinedown.  One of the worst recordings in years.  It's so bad it sounds like very early digital.
Listened to FM HD Stereo today on the Mac tuner. It was very deep tracks from the mid 60's, 70’s and 80’s. Some of the music I hadn’t listened to in 20 years, brought back a lot of memories. Major Tum by David Bowie brought back memories of my wife and I when we first started dating.
