Clem Snide "Forever Just Beyond." Produced & played on by the Avett Brothers. A truely affecting album with a heartwarming backstory. I also just received Joe Henry's " The Gospel According to Water," which has been deemed a masterpiece by numerous critics. I will put it on tonight (I have purposely avoided streaming it).
The Delines "The Imperial". Similar to the Cowboy Junkies with better songs. Also, it gets my vote for one of the records of year so far. Amy Boone's voice is delicate & soulful. Their first album "Colfax" is also brilliant, but no vinyl. SQ on both is outstandinding.

Both classic Boz Scaggs albums. Boz Scaggs S/T really grabbed me, and, in particular, the song "Loan Me a Dime" started a lifelong quest to discover/uncover blues from past decades. This search quickly expanded to include jazz, ragtime & bluegrass, to mention just a few. So you might say that Boz Scaggs was very responsible for expanding my musical horizons and depleting my pocketbook.

@Slaw, thanks for the Glen Hansard 'Between Two Shores' recommendation. Here's 2 new ones for you...Ashley McBryde 'Girl Going Nowhere' & Boz Scaggs 'Out of the Blues'.
Buffalo Springfield box set 'What's That Sound'. Mastered from the original tapes under the 'supervision' of Neil Young. I started with the mono versions (1st two albums) & the sonics are incredible.
