Up now, a freshly cleaned domestic "TFC". Same listening level at 2:00...Wow!

While writing my mini review, my post was deleted. Therefore I became deflated.
OK,

I loved the SQ I was getting with the 2016 remastered "Final Cut". It had taken on a more "beautiful" presentation without losing much at all.

The domestic had a little more dynamics, which along with that comes a tighter bass response. So, for really my first time, I find myself wondering which lp I like better.

For me it's the remaster. It draws me into the presentation way more. (This was remastered by the original engineers). I love the beauty of the music. I don't get that with my domestic copy.

A first for me but, I love what I was hearing!
Maybe fat-finger typing?.
Anyway, love the music on the Molina lp. Mine is noisy, requested a replacement. Going to desktop to finish.
@bkeske,

Early on, Grieg’s Peer Gynt moved me enough to buy an lp. Looking for it now to no avail. Have not forgotten about you.

Pretty sure it was on Decca

@noromance

I assume you mean (less analog sounding)? In that case, my answer is no.

The 2016 remaster, upon thinking about it along with what I heard, I’m feeling more confident in saying, the presentation on the 2016 remaster really feels like what I feel Roger had in mind.

It was Roger"s take , in a different time of his thoughts  on what his father went through. This time had emotion, and a beauty to it from afar.
Guys,

I'm posting as I'm learning. Thanks for putting up with me.

I the past, I always noticed some things about my system presentation that I felt were very important. While they are, I'm fastly, in recent weeks, coming to realize there is more.

Great transient response is really nice, but when it''s presented in a more tonal/natural/not in your face way, it takes on another meaning.

Nice tight bass response is great, but after hearing live music, that isn't really THE way I want to hear it in my space. Live low bass isn't "nice & tight". It has a deeper, meaningful, structural feeling.

These are just a few changes I'm experiencing now that really makes my system relate way more emotion. This is really drawing me in.

To be continued..............
Frankly, this relatively inexpensive Duelund cable is providing me with all the new thoughts. It’s very articulate and musical, and revealing in such a natural way, with Zero negatives.
Got these in this week, all sealed originals.

Hiss Golden Messenger "Terms of Surrender" 2019
Noah Gundersen  "Family"  2015
Johnny Cash  "The Junkie and the Juicehead Minus Me"  1974/Columbia
Recently realized, "Everybody’s Talkin’ About Me" made it's way into another generation.

Tedeschi/Trucks Band..,
Never finished "Didn't He Ramble" last weekend, so goin' to warm up with that one.
A gifted lp from my good neighbor...

Lovin’ Spoonful "The Best of the...." Kama Sutra - KLP 8056 ( pretty sure it’s mono) OP with original color photos. This looked pretty rough but listening to it after a few cleanings is fairly quiet and sounding very good.
Noah Gundersen "Family" one of my current favorite, singer/songwriter male artists....

Having the tube amps in my system has been very satisfying so far. The music is more alive in every aspect. Really nice!

Other Lives is up again after a new US cleaning. My previous cleaning notes were from 4 years ago with the Audio Desk. This band is probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but every time I hear it, I love it more............ second track in, I can already hear the lack of surface noise and the seemingly more open presentation.
Johnny Cash "The Junkie and the Juicehead Minus Me" .
I bought it sealed, on the spur of the moment. I’ve wanted to explore Johnny’s earlier stuff and when I saw the contributors are June Carter Cash, Carlene Routh, Rosey Nix, & Rosanne (who looks to be around 13? here), I had to scoop it up. This is one I really never hear about and so far, through side one, I’m not at all disappointed. SQ...it seems recorded hot, but at the right volume level it is very enjoyable. I lucked out in that it is a 1 A copy on both sides!
Z Z Top "Deguello"  songs from this lp were some of the most overplayed radio hits in the early 80's. Now, I get to hear them on a system I never dreamed I'd own. Here we go....!
............. after "Tales...." what better time to hear "Fragile"? Been cleaning it today. The UK pressing.
