@bdp24 ,

Always great!, to hear from you. I don't remember when or where I picked up the MCH lp, but it's a (no bar code).

The Lyle lp is/was a great listen!  I bought several of LL lps from a former friend for $4 bucks a piece, several years ago. ( A nice buy).

Thanks for the Miller info!!!
Patty Griffin "S/T" (2019) SQ = EX!
…….........…......…......…...…………..
In a little while...…….. the latest from Jim Lauderdale "From Another World". I have high expectations for this one given as how great "Time Flies" is.
REM "Out of Time"
…………………………………….
@bdp24,

I remember that scene in "Great Balls of Fire".
Dave Grusin "Discovered Again" Sheffield Labs Treasury/D2D

(this is the first audiophile lp I ever bought)
@jamesclarke,

Thanks buddy. I just bought myself a Father’s Day gift....lps of coarse! These will be shared with all of you.

The Jim Lauderdale lp is turning out to be a mighty fine lp.

Where’s @tomic601?
The mono lp of Cher sounds good to me through my Sussurro w/ mono switch engaged.
…………………………..
Mercury Rev  "Bobby Gentry's  The Delta Sweete Revisted"
On the Cher lp…. I bought it partly because Sonny & Cher were part of my growing up and I never heard this record before. In addition, the address, is that of the famous Muscle Shoals studio. There is a lot of historical significance in that for me.

On "I Walk On Guilded Splinters"...... listening to Cher sing it, I swear she sounds quite a lot like Joan Osborne. Cher’s voice here is much deeper than the current Cher. I think I like her voice better here.

Finished side one which is in stereo. SQ = EX.
@jamesclarke,

Almost there...………..buddy, you timed it very close.. Glad your still listening.

Got a bunch of new lps in this week...…... starting out with:

Caroline Spence "Mint Condition"
The Caroline Spence lp was very warped. It’s going into the ORB and will be perfect next time I see it.

( I just now saw the irony in the above..."Mint Condition" / the lp is warped.????

Cher "3614 Jackson Highway" ROG/dbl vinyl/one lp mono
I have been looking forward to hearing the Mercury Rev lp. Wasn't quite sure of what to expect though. The SQ = EX with major atmospherics/air.
As a piece of music/art, I'd say it has to be on a best of 2019 list.
Well, lp 2 of  Dave needs flattening as well...……...
……………………………...
in the meantime......
Johnathan Wilson "Rare Birds"

Got another hour of waiting on the DA so,....Kris Kristofferson "The Austin Sessions"  2016/re-mastered
Finally, side 1 & 2 of Dave Alvin "King of California" in a few minutes.
"Mint Condition" exceeded any expectation I had. It deserves a double WOW!!. Highly Recommended!!
Jimi Hendrix "Rainbow Bridge …..."
………………...
@uberwaltz,

OK, I'll check it out.
Dave Alvin "King of California" was up next.  Needed to be flattened so my flow is interrupted. Anyway, it is the 25th Anniversary/1st time on vinyl.
I'm sure it's gonna be great.

In the meantime, here's some great listening....
Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks  "S/T"
I looked around one day and realized I was being invaded by audio gear. Becoming invaded by lps made more sense.
@16f4,

It's kind of amazing that "All Things Must Pass" can be still be found in great shape for not mush money.

Back from a record show:

I found the Pink Floyd "A Saucerful of Secrets" mono/2019 RSD I barely missed on RSD
Nazareth "Expect No Mercy"
Genesis  "Selling England by the Pound"
Michael Nesmith "Infinite Rider on the Big Dogma"
Procol Harum  "Procol's Ninth"
Cat Stevens "Budda and the Chocolate Box"
10cc "Live and Let LIVE"
Wishbone Ash "Argus"
Wishbone Ash "Live Dates"
Peter Frampton "I'm In You"

….not too bad for $88.00

I've gone past the days of name brand interconnects. I've found great value in other places.
Why spend high dollars on wire as opposed to a component?
