Hi @6t5-gto,

I noticed that my friend. Welcome to the club! What unit did you get?

I had nothing much to do last night so I went to YouTube and watched Genesis...behind the music. That inspired my record choice earlier. I think an original press would sound fantastic! It surely deserves a professional remastering.

Walter Trout "The Blues Came Callin’"  SQ = EX
.........………......
@6t5-gto,

I’d appreciate anything you could do.
@tomic601 ,

"The Blues Came Callin’" is an exceptional blues lp. Something about it doesn’t seem to be "the same ol’ thing". Excellent musicionship really helps.
@big_greg,

I assume the JVC is a 70’s direct drive? The arm...I assume is a stock arm? If so, how do you manage those two components? (the stock arm & Kiseki)
Led Zeppelin "How the West Was Won" Box  "for those who're 'bout to rock"...……………..
Hey @timsteinlein,

Never listened to Panic before. I bought several of Vic's lps a while back since they were offered as re-masters and I never had a chance to buy them previously. "West of Rome" sounds EX!
@big_greg,

I love the way you described the tt history you have.  What brings one closer to the music, ( IE: a personal connection), is THE goal, IMO.
The Steve Earle lp is sounding very good after flattening. Not sure why I had initial misgivings?
Hey @tomic601 ,

I have both copies of that night, sealed, with the sales sticker, $2.37. in stereo.

How about that?
Hiss Golden Messenger  "Poor Moon"   Excellent!

@6t5-gto,

I have the MFSL "Katy Lied" as well. I never thought that lp sounded great.
@tomic601 ,

If you're referring to Miles, the girl on the cover of several of his lps was his girlfriend at the time.
Neil Young "Harvest Moon"   2017/dbl lp/re-master...everyone needs this
Camel has been mentioned a lot lately. I've always wanted "Rajaz" on vinyl. I think it's never been released on vinyl?
Starflyer 59 "Dial M"
…......……………………...
I have an OP of Humble Pie "Eat It" from the boxes of gifted lps I’ve had for years that I’m slowly going through that looks very good. I’m reserving it for this upcoming weekend. Also, RSD is this same weekend. I’m planning on reserving my place in line an hour early, as I’ve got my eye on several.
@6t5-gto,

Hello! When I’ve mentioned Ted Nugent, I felt like the lonliest person in the world.
The lps that caught my eye on RSD are:

Frank Black's first two solo lps
Pink Floyd "Obscured By Clouds" mono/done by the same group who did such a wonderful job on the latest re-masters
"4-Way Street" re-mastered by BG and expanded
Colter Wall "Songs of the Plains" Looking at Colter’s picture while listening, I can’t help but wonder where that voice comes from. SQ = Amazing!
The National "High Violet"  Wow!, this lp sounds SO much better than the last time I played it. I thought it sounded good then?
Everything is sounding superb now with the now broken-in Sussurro, it's hard to quit listening. The Pumpkins lp was sounding really good but it is a 3 lp set, so on to other thing.

Noah Gundersen "Ledges"

@reubent ,

It'd be an interesting comparison to the OP/Virgin. You don't happen to have both do you?
