Roger Waters - The Pros And Cons Of Hitch Hiking (Harvest 1984)

One of the best albums ever made. Stunning sound quality.
Donovan ‎– Donovan In Concert (Epic 1968)

This is a gem. Good SQ live recording with atmosphere.

Robert Calvert ‎- Captain Lockheed and the Starfighters (United Artists 1974)

The Fleetwoods ‎– The Fleetwoods Greatest Hits (Dolton 1962)

Two girls and a guy. Not the greatest songs but the voices... Man, the early 60s. I think they have flowers in their hair. But no drugs.

Duke Ellington ‎– Monologue (CBS ‎1969)

Collection of 40s/50s tunes. Recording is of its time but the music is exquisite. #smokeyspeakeasy

Jay McShann ‎- Confessin' The Blues (Black & Blue 1970)

Good recording for its era. Musically top notch.

Jay McShann ‎- The Big Apple Bash (Atlantic 1979)

Very good recording. Some nice 3D depth imaging and crystal cymbal work.

Sarah Vaughan – All Time Favorites (Mercury Wing 1963)

Benny Goodman Trio - Quartet - Quintet – Trio-Quartet-Quintet (RCA Victor 19I...

Carol Kidd ‎- S/T (Aloi/Linn 1984)

Precise, delicate recording. Bought it when it came out from my Linn dealer.

Malcolm Williamson, Lennox Berkeley, Yehudi Menuhin, The London Philharmonic Orchestra, Menuhin Festival Orchestra, Sir Adrian Boult – Violin Concertos (His Master's Voice 1972)

Billy Bragg ‎- Talking With The Taxman About Poetry (Go! Discs 1986)

The Cockney Bard of Barking. Bought this on tour when it came out from the man himself.

...except, I did play it for the first time in 30 years in Feb 2020 on this thread.
No surprise I remember it. That’s a laugh.
Supertramp ‎– Breakfast In America (A&M 1979)

Bit of a boom-tizz recording but great stuff.

Sarah Vaughan ‎- All Time Favorites By (Mercury Wing 1963 mono)

I feel like I'm in a movie.

Julie Andrews ‎- The Lass With The Delicate Air (RCA Victor 1957)

Dame Julie was only 22 when this was cut. It's like waking up from this COVID bullshit and throwing the windows open on an English cottage garden.

10,000 Maniacs ‎– In My Tribe (Elektra 1987)

Great songs. Mastered atrociously by Doug Sax. Is it digital? Love it but it's a shame it sounds so digital.

@boxer12 The Madcap Laughs is insanely good. I have an original and it's got so expensive, I've held back playing it!

Bowie - Station to Station
Great album, diluted for me when I realized after 20 years that Bowie did not write Wild is the Wind.
The New Black Eagle Jazz Band ‎– On The Road  (The Black Eagles ‎1980)

Live acoustic and excellent SQ. Love their stuff.

The New Black Eagle Jazz Band ‎- In New Orleans (The Black Eagles 1974)

Magic.

First Aid Kit ‎- The Big Black & The Blue (Wichita 2010)

If you don't like this, you're dead to me.

Hey @slaw Yeah. I bought all their albums. Some are better than others. Comparing the vinyl to the streaming is rad. LP wipes the floor. Admittedly,  I don't have fancy DACs.
Maxine Sullivan With Ted Easton's Jazzband ‎– Maxine (Audiophile 1982 [RE 1975])

Superb recording and sweet cool jazz.
Various ‎– 4th Annual Bluegrass & Country Festival Tapes Recorded Live In Telluride (Flying Fish 1977)

Found this in my collection. Nice surprise.

Jean Ritchie ‎- High Hills And Mountains (Greenhays 1979)

Kentucky Bluegrass meets Irish folk. Solid recording. Great music.

@big_greg
Space Ritual? Nice. Hopefully the original gatefold! Space is deep.
