 Edie Brickell & The New Bohemians  "Rocket"

Been looking forward to this one.....
Donna The Buffalo "Tonight, Tomorrow & Yesterday" &
 "Dance In The Street"
@6t5-gto,

I ordered "1000 Kisses" at the end of the year record sale I mentioned but they were out. Glad to hear that about M Knopfler, it will be ordered. I own the APO "24 Karat Hits" @33rpm/stereo/mono from years ago.

Donna The Buffalo "Dance In The Street"...highly recommended!
Getting ready to start...

Beth Hart "Live @ The Royal Albert Hall" 3lp set
…………………………………………………..
Well I was really looking forward to the B Hart lp, sadly, record 1 had a defect so I'm not going to waist time cleaning the entire set. We'll see how Music Direct treats me with this return. The SQ 1s wonderful!
Portugal The Man "Woodstock"

This is kind of an experimental lp for me. @nutty mentioned it 1 year or two ago and I liked the song he posted. I saw the lp @ oldies for little to nothing, so I scooped it up.
John Moreland "Big Bad Luv"

Based upon side one and his previous 3 lps, this record is his best. SQ=Very Very Good/ nice balance, very smooth....check it out. BTW, he IS one of the better songwriters around today.

One could argue his grasp on his alcoholism made him a much better artist?
Getting pumped for the Alejandro Escovedo show in a couple of hours!

Re-listened to "The Wind" & "Big Bad Luv" this evening.
Don Antonio "S/T"

I bought DA's debut (only) lp at the show. The sticker says "Limited Tour Edition" /300 copies/on clear vinyl. I'm hoping it's going to have great sound? The band sounded great.
The DA lp sounds extremely good.

Up next...re-listen to Califone "Stitches" SQ=EX

Later...Luna "Lunified"  Run Out Groove/dbl/lp
Alejandro Escovedo "The Crossing"
…………………………………………………
The show was great. Don Antonio (his band) opened. They are from Italy. When AE came out, he told the story about the making of "The Crossing". He found DA and they became his band for the tour. DA helped write a couple of the songs. Most of the band is over 40. The senior members had a lot of energy and were having fun. They all were having fun. During the encore set, AE brought out Mitch Easter. One of the songs was "All The Young Dudes" to honor Bowie who died on Jan 10 2018. That song takes on so much more meaning live. They killed it! Loved it!
WOW!!!! Hearing just side one of "Reunions"on vinyl, makes me glad at 62, that great music is obtainable!!!!!

@noromance

I streamed some Holly Golightly today. Tidal didn't have the lp you recommend but listening to " My First Holly Golightly Album".....love it! Thanks Brian

@grey9hound ,

I've been using them for over 20 years. While not inexpensive, I think they are a good medium between ebay and Discogs. I've had 98% positive experience with them. Just ordered two today in fact.
Trixie Whitley "I'd Rather Go Blind"  one-sided 10" import
Black Dub "S/T"
The Youngbloods "Beautiful! Live in San Francisco, 1971"
Sundazed/mono/original masters.

Valley Maker "When I Was a Child"
Always loved Laura Veirs. "The Lookout" ....my second time listening...love it!
BTW, "When I Was a Child"   SQ=EX
………………………………..
Low "Songs for a Dead Pilot"
@tooblue,

I meant to say it's good to have another Nick Waterhouse fan posting here and to welcome you to the thread.
@uberwaltz,

IMO, the latest re-master of The Wall bests all other copies I own. Make sure it’s the James Guthrie/Sony/circa 2016. If you look back through this thread, @6t5-gto and I remarked on this lp. The original US pressing /Masterdisk, sounds great, but you said, "the best".

Turn it up!
Dan Auerbach "Keep It Hid" ….cut @ Abbey Road, plated & pressed @ Pallas. SQ=EX
Iron & Wine "Weed Garden".
This is the rest of the "Beast Epic" sessions from earlier in 2018, only this lp is @ 45rpm. Tasty!
