Magnolia Electric Co. "Fading Trails" Nice SQ
…………………………………………………..
I’ve been happy to see more (new) people posting here this year. (and on Audiogon in general there are noticeably more new posters)

It’s all about the music. Happy New Year to all!
Santana  "?"  I think it's their 3rd, the one with a human figure floating in outer-space. Yeah, that's the one. Great record, great sounding record. OP
Neil Young, Crazy Horse & The Bullets "American Stars 'n Bars"  from the box set.
FWIW, we have until midnight to get 15% off vinyl from MD, code YES15. Since the demise of SSD, we'll likely never see the 20% off again.
Ryan Adams & The Cardinals "Follow The Lights"

Outside of "Heartbreaker", "FTL" has been my favorite by RA in terms of quality of song writing, sound quality, & total involvement.
I’ve almost completed my Holland pressing of Simon & Garfunkel "BOTW". Well it has great points and some points that I’m sure the MOFI one step would be a significant improvement. I’m happy to report this pressing has a great soundstage and really nice air. Bass is not usually there. It is enjoyable. What I found interesting was, it is on CBS, where as my early S&G lps are on Columbia? Hum?

Turns out to be a nice lp to determine a center image or cartridge azimuth.

I agree "two different bands". I'm gonna reserve my judgement between both for later.
Now.. sides 3 & 4 of the now completely flattened TH "S/T" lps.

A worthwhile journey.
Got in my big order of Steve Earle today. Gonna start chronologically backwards with later pressing first. Doubt if I listen to all today though.

"Washington Street Serenade"

Had no idea Allison Moorer was a staple on SE’s records.
@tomic601 ,

That's very interesting. I always loved Shelby. Really never heard of Allison until the two came out with their lp a couple years ago. Always had a crush on Shelby.
While waiting on "Townes" to clean....The Teskey Brothers "Half Mile Harvest"

Wow! "HMH" does sound so goood!
Hi @uberwaltz,

I checked out your virtual system page earlier today...

The Devore speakers...love them!

Regarding the Nottingham...did you have or try the Wave Mechanic? I noticed you run a Walker. Could you elaborate?
@reubent ,

The liner noters included in "WSS"... Steve mentions he’d love for Allison to move to NYC with him. That's from 2007.
@bkeske,

I felt a need to let you know, even though I'm not really into classical at the moment, I do realize you have a rock history. Anyway, you are such a welcome addition to our family.
Bill Withers "Greatest Hits"  SQ=EX

Santana "Lotus"  Japan/2017 ….sides 5&6
@boxer12,
I happened to glance over at the other music thread and noticed where your moniker originated. I had wondered, but I now get it. I was once a motorcycle dude. Mostly raced motocross back in the day where it was only two-stroke bikes. Roger Decoster was my hero then.
@reubent ,

I forgot about Bultaco & Puch. I’ve owned/or ridden Hodaka & Can Am. My remembrance is Puch was more of a trail bike/trials bike.

Can-Am came later.

Hodaka 90, 100, 125 , Wombat, Combat Wombat. Hodaka was a trail bike.

Don’t forget CZ.
@6t5-gto,

I get it brother! One of my riding friends had a Can-Am 370, Wow! That thing was scary!

"Can’t Buy a Thrill" I’d like to find a great sounding pressing.
