Black Sabbath - Sabotage (NEMS 1975 UK)

I can't headbang like I used to for fear of a stroke.

All of the things that could go wrong!

I'm more concerned about my neck alignment.

Halsey – Badlands (Astralwerks 2015)

Fleet Foxes – Fleet Foxes (Sub Pop 2008)

Haven't played this in a while. Sounds amazing.

Jimmy Rushing And The Smith Girls – Bessie - Clara - Mamie & Trixie, The Songs They Made Famous (Columbia 6 eye 1961 mono)

I've gotten a bit lazy posting albums I played. Rest assured,  the tables are still in use.

Pat Kirby - What is this Thing Called Love (mono Decca 1957)

The clarity of these 50s recordings is ridiculous. Best black backgrounds.

@slaw Yeah, love old recordings, sweet sound quality. Nostalgia and the Golden age of recording. My gear loves it.

Sue Raney (Raelene Claire Claussen) – When Your Lover Has Gone (Capitol 1958)

Rosalie Sorrels – Miscellaneous Abstract Record No. 1 (Green Linnet 1982)

Interesting note on Green Linnet records. The label was founded by folkster Patrick Sky. He fell in love with trad Irish music after his Greenwich Village stint. A linnet is a red-breasted song bird. However, in the Irish rebel song tradition, the name "Green Linnet" was the code name for Napoleon Bonaparte who they hoped would break the chains of British rule.

Sibylle Baier – Colour Green (Orange Twin 2006, RE 2010)

The songs were home reel-to-reel tape recordings Baier had made in Germany between 1970 and 1973. Some thirty years later her son compiled a CD from these recordings to give to family members as presents.
