"At Least That’s What You Said" from the above box set. Real nice!

In fact, this entire box is MUCH more enjoyable than I remembered.
@boxer12,

I stopped buying Wilco after "The Album", which I think we agreed is our favorite?

Having said that, how do you perceive "The Whole Love"?
I love Eric, but we are all different. I don't let what others like determine my joy.
@tomic601 ,

It will be on a little later after I clean it. Never heard it before.

Finishing up Eagles "Live" pp/sides 3 & 4
@boxer12,
The Litter is a 60's era rock band that IMO, is really good They had that garage band feel and did some cool covers.
Genesis "Seconds Out"  Abbey Road/1/2 speed

The sticker says first time on lp since '77. It'll by my first time hearing it. The vinyl looks and feels fantastic!
Genesis "Seconds Out" Abbey Road half speed

That one came in earlier, expecting a few more today.

Laurindo Almeida/Ray Brown "Bach Ground Blues & Green" sealed/op
Hey @petg60,

I own "The Serpent's Egg" as well. Found it at a church yard sale for $1.00. The label is 4AD. The jacket feels like the lighter weight cardboard from EU. Not too much info included though.
Sides 3 & 4 of LW "Good Souls Better Angels"

Has Lu ever rocked harder!!!!?????
Knowing ahead of listening that "Songs for Judy" is a digital recording, allows me to adjust my mindset. While I can tell it, I still enjoy!
@big_greg,

I actually have the pp of that lp, have not heard it in 30 years. So I cannot answer your question

My feeling is with the MFSL, you’ll get a quieter presentation along with a deeper, more forceful/bass . This matters with this lp.

Steve
@6t5_gto,

Glad you own the Rega TT. I'd love to have the RP 10. Look forward to your impression.
Used to be WAY into Aerosmith back in the day. Don’t think about them as much lately. A while back I was looking at my lps, and noticed almost all mine are reissues. So, I’m trying to remedy that somewhat. "Rocks" arrived today. Sony/Legacy remastered "from the original source tapes". I’ve always been pleased with all my Legacy lps. Here’s hoping? Up later on..........
@tomic601 ,

Listened to "Seconds Out". With being unfamiliar with this music yet knowing how well recorded music can sound. I give it a very conservative 9.
@uberwaltz, @big_greg,

The Sweet lps I own are labeled Sweet. Is that just an American thing?
@noromance ,

I listened to most of my Steppenwolf lps not long ago. Was happy to hear how great they sound.
"Workingman’s Dead" from a former DJ’s personal stash. Paid $1.00. PP/Interestingly, the back jacket is upside down. A windfall????

Actually, the vinyl is super clean, the jacket ain't too shabby either.
I own that one @noromance. Picked it up at a neighbor’s yard sale for .50 cents. Not the best shape but gave me a good taste. Guess I’d call it Folk.
It’s been a while, so I’m going to start playing my 45rpm Patricia Barber lps. First, one of my favorite finds this year... Valley Maker  "Rhododendron".
David Rawlings  "Poor David's Almanac"  Highly Recommended! One of my top lps in 2018.

Hi Tim,

I have a few Califone lps. Was wondering if their latest efforts are as good?

Did a (deep clean) on the Rex Brown lp from earlier. Listening now. Never heard any Pantera, but when I purchased this lp on my gut instinct a couple years ago, just had a feeling. I really like it!
Was wondering if any of you have the Matthew Sweet/Susanna Hoffs lp? If so, your impressions please?
Van Morrison "A Period of Transition"...to get the cart warned up
The Teskey Brothers "Half Mile Harvest"
Big Star "3rd" OP
Ten Years After "Live at the Fillmore East" 1970/first time on vinyl

Welcome @16f4,

I liked what I read about that Pro-Ject VCS. Hope you enjoy it.
I read somewhere a while back that lps actually go to 40,000 khz. Beyond human hearing but I’m positive we can sense it.
Welcome @krelldog , @ mukiwa,

Regarding the L' Art du Son, it has to be refrigerated doesn't it? I seem to remember it's shelf life isn't very long either? With a Spin Clean, using their fluid is recommended because it has additives that allow the dirt particles to float to the bottom. Important when one is reusing the same water to clean additional lps.
@reubent ,

If you are referring to "I Get Up", I ordered mine the same day as "HMH" off of Amazon. Suppose to be here by the end of this month.
Jim,

I was keen on doing a shootout several weeks ago. Listened to the pp Capricorn/pink label first then when I went to pull out my Classic Records copy, realized it hadn't had my latest cleaning, so another time I guess.
@reubent ,

Finished listening to The Teskey Brothers. Very enjoyable! There seems to be a resurgent of like bands in the last few years.... St/ Paul & the Broken Bones, The Marcus King Band, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats to name a few, and I ain't complaining.
@boxer12,

After your recent posts, I looked through my Talking Heads lps and found "More Songs About Buildings and Food"...a gift from my older brother's stash. It's a pp, will give it the treatment.
Iron Butterfly "Metamorphosis" WLP/one of my all time great lps...........
