Side 2. Harrowing stuff. All sides need to disband their militaries if we are to survive. Remember, the militaries will ultimately kill your children. Genius movie and this is classic RW downer sh1t.

@bkeske I must play more of their stuff. Not enough time.

@slaw  I prefer her work with The Brokeoffs (Lawyer Dave) so you might veer in that direction. The Appalachian vibe is just awesome.

Steve, one of my all time favorites. I have the 12" version of Life's What You Make It.

@bkeske  Brian, streaming Bartók. Romanian Folk Dances. The string orchestral version, and the piano and violin version. Both sublime.

Solid recording and enjoyable music. Sealed from Amazon and vinyl is way noisier than it should be after a SpinClean which I do on all new. I’ll try the US and see if it helps. Otherwise, it’s bye bye back to Amz.

Spent the evening swapping out the bearing in my second Garrard 401. Another veil removed with a nice uptick in transient response and reduced coloration. Not easy with a 40 pound plinth.
