Already had "Shoot Out The Lights"(in 1984) on vinyl which was a little complex for a teenager but was able to discern something special within that album. Tough to pick a SQ winner but a $10 OP album that has Audiophile SQ and top level content gets the crown(take that Mofi) Only Charlie Rich had so/so SQ which puts a damper on the great content. Ozone and Roberts recordings are worth investigating if your a serious Jazz fan. Would like to compare a mint/sealed OP Abraxas vs Mofi 1Step. My yard sale OP Abraxas(still had poster) might give the 1 Step a battle |

Alice had the worst SQ. Sometimes the "Greatest Hits" versions are poorly done. I will give the SQ crown To Larry Vuckovich over Hamilton’s CJ release due to being less edgy(relaxed) in the treble. |
